"My Wish List"

(this text is written in 1999)

I used to write here that my birthday was coming up soon,

or about the holidays which were coming.

And about how cold I sometimes felt inside.

Looking through my window,

I saw busses passing by. I saw people in the streets,

people at home, warm and cheerful, living together.

and I feel empty, almost allone.

Like a little crying and hidden princess.

Besides this I always want to do all things I like to do.

I wanted to do something, to try someting. To be free.

To be my own Drama Queen.

I made a wish list and I deceided to put it up the internet.

I am selfish, I know.

It is true that I cannot buy as many things as I want.

Maybe you can surprise me and make me very happy indeed.

I will repay your kindness
with some very special gifts.
